In his horse business, DBS Horses, which he runs with his partner Karin Scheepens, DHT partner Rob de Bruijn focuses on breeding, training, buying, and selling talented horses. Through his stable, several top showjumpers have found their way to the top of the sport.

For example, Rob sold the very successful Casall (Casall x Capitol I) as a 6-year-old. Casall now jumps at the highest level with the American Ali Wolff. Rob also sold Hannah (Dulf van den Bisschop x Kashmir van Schuttershof), who jumped double clear in the Nations Cup of Aachen with Steve Guerdat. Another top jumper from Rob's stables is Eristov (Cicero van Paemel x Concorde), who won big classes with Jordan Coyle at Spruce Meadows. Georgina Bloomberg's Cliff Z (Canturano x Quasimodo) is another one that came from Rob and jumps internationally now.

Rob plans to enter similar high-quality horses in the auction of Dutch Horse Trading as well. "I like a very careful, sharp horse with a very good technique in front. I like a horse that jumps with a high knee, has a great canter and a good balance," says Rob. I have a bit of everything in terms of ages. From talented 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds to high-quality ridden jumpers and nice amateur horses."

Rob can fully identify with the goal, the standards, and the values of Dutch Horse Trading. "Online auctioning has become a modern way of selling a horse. I am happy to participate to reach a broader group of potential clients and to be able to serve the customer even better with better horses. I also appreciate the correctness towards the clients. I always sell a horse as it is. I want to be honest and open about that. That also happens in this auction. We tell the clients all that we know. After all, honesty lasts the longest."
