Big Asca Star KZ is a ten-year-old son of Big Star JR KZ, who himself competed at 1.55 m level and is a son of the Olympic champion Big Star, ridden by Nick Skelton. On the dam’s side, we also find an impressive amount of proven sport. His granddam produced, among others, Arsto, who competed at 1.60 m level with Ben Maher, and Sea Coast Pebbles, successful at 1.60 m level with Gudrun Patteet. In addition, Happy Girl competed at 1.60 m level with Micky Morssinkhof, while Viking D also jumped at 1.60 m level with Nasser Al Chazali. The family is further distinguished by numerous horses that have competed successfully at international level. Big Asca Star KZ is himself a well-trained and pleasant horse to ride. He has received a very good basic education from the rider who brought him up to 1.35 m level. Thanks to this calm and correct training, he is suitable for a wide range of riders, including less experienced riders looking for a reliable horse to develop with.
